Seattle-based track-and-field athlete Marta Pen Freitas was training to qualify for her third Olympics last year when a mammogram revealed she had stage I, triple-positive #breastcancer. With support from her teams both on the track and at Fred Hutch, Marta developed a treatment plan that allowed her to continue competing at the highest level in her sport.
