Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif [a] (born 23 September 1951) is a Pakistani politician and businessman who has served as Prime Minister of Pakistan since March 2024, having previously served as the prime minister from April 2022 to August 2023.

He earned a reputation as an able administrator as chief minister of Punjab province before he became prime minister and later led his party after his elder brother, Nawaz Sharif, went into exile in 2017.
