Governor Kim Reynolds signed an executive order late this morning creating an Iowa “Department of Government Efficiency” task force. “It’s work will be organized around three broad goals: maximizing return on taxpayer investment,

"We were doing DOGE before DOGE was a thing," Reynolds said during her Condition of the State address last month.

The state DOGE task force will make recommendations on how to make the government more efficient at the state, federal and local levels.
