Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) faces criticism within his party for a messy week-long drama over John Reid, the GOP nominee for lieutenant governor who has refused to drop out.

The candidate alleged that he is being targeted over his sexuality after Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin called for him to drop out of the race.

John Reid, Virginia's Republican nominee for lieutenant governor, said religious activists tied to Governor Glenn Younkin threatened to release lewd photos if he did not drop out of the race. WRC's Julie Carey reports.
