Combs' federal sex-crimes trial resumed in Manhattan on May 15, and the one-time mogul's lawyers continued asking Cassie about what they have called her own history of domestic violence. The rapper's lawyers have also alleged she was motivated by money to get back at him.

Cassie alleged that Diddy coerced her into “hundreds” of “Freak Offs” during their time together. She said that Diddy was able to control her with frequent beatings and “blackmail” threats that he would release video recordings of these events. The days-long “Freak Offs” laid waste to her body and mind.

In 2011, she met rapper Scott Mescudi, whose stage name is Kid Cudi. At the time, she was “not in the greatest place” with Combs, and began dating Mescudi, she told a Manhattan jury on Wednesday as the third day of Combs' sex crimes trial wrapped up.
