Daredevil: Born Again Episode 3, ‘The Hollow of His Hand,’ is largely based on a story from the Daredevil comic ‘Trial of the Century.’ Both stories find Matt Murdock defending the vigilante White Tiger on charges of murdering a police officer.

Born Again was a roller coaster of pretty extreme highs and lows for Matt Murdock, lawyer by day and (formerly) Daredevil by night. Episode 3, "The Hollow of His Hand," named after an Irish prayer that Heather recites in Foggy Nelson (RIP)'s honor in the episode,

Dario Scardapane altered Daredevil: Born Again to provide more action-packed and gritty storytelling. The show underwent a creative overhaul, but the original pilot episode remained in the series as Episode 2. The decision to showcase Foggy's death onscreen resonated with audiences and may hint at his return through flashbacks.
