Weapons director Zach Cregger says his Resident Evil film will be a "rock 'em, sock 'em" zombie romp which will be inspired by Sam Raimi's 1987 cult classic Evil Dead II.

The original horror flick, Weapons, featuring Josh Brolin and Julia Garner, had a production budget of less than $50 million.
