The Osbourne family is expected to look at the sea of tributes when the cortège reaches Broad Street at around 1pm. Crowds of people, many wearing Ozzy Osbourne T-shirts and holding posters and other tributes, are already waiting behind metal barriers all along Broad Street.

Ozzy Osbourne, who was born in Marston Green, a suburb of Birmingham, and who died at the age of 76, was one of the city's most celebrated cultural icons. He and Sharon Osbourne were married for 43 years before his death.

Tens of thousands of fans gathered in Ozzy Osbourne’s hometown of Birmingham, England on Wednesday for the funeral procession of the legendary rocker and Black Sabbath frontman, who died on July 22 at the age of 76.
