Google has confirmed yet another security update, the third in as many weeks, for Chrome users on Linux, Mac and Windows—here’s what you need to know.

Google announced that the Chrome Sync feature will be discontinued in early 2025 for Chrome versions older than four years.

Microsoft and Google have collaborated to improve privacy in Chrome's Incognito mode on Windows 10 and 11. The update was implemented in Q3 2024 and prevents clipboard content copied during private browsing sessions from being saved in Windows' clipboard history or synced via Cloud Clipboard.
