Ten weeks into the 2025 NFL season, the Denver Broncos are currently the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoff race. The Broncos (8-2) are first in the AFC West, above the Los Angeles Chargers (7-3), Kansas City Chiefs (5-4) and Las Vegas Raiders (2-7). Up next for Denver is a crucial division showdown with KC in Week 11.
The Broncos began the third-quarter possession at the Las Vegas 33-yard line after an interception and big return by linebacker Dondrea Tillman. The Denver offense had already punted five times and ended another drive with an interception, but now they were in prime position to grab the lead.
Denver (7-2) also owns one of the NFL's best defenses, headlined by pass rushing aces Nik Bonitto and Jonathon Cooper. Bonitto has eight sacks this season, and Cooper has seven. Overall, the Broncos are allowing the third-fewest yards per game this season.
