LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - A large police presence can be seen in a southwest valley neighborhood. The police activity is located near Cactus Avenue and Jones Boulevard. Las Vegas police have provided limited information but say they are working a barricade situation, according to a police lieutenant on the scene.

A man was shot and killed Wednesday near a North Las Vegas business. The shooting was reported around 5:15 a.m. at a business on the 1200 block of East Lake Mead Boulevard, near North Bruce Street, according to a North Las Vegas Police Department release.
