PITTSBURGH, Pa. (WKBN) – Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby has been named to Team Canada for the 2026 Olympic Games. The official announcement was made on Monday by Hockey Canada. Crosby is one of the “First Six” members of the team as acknowledged by the IIHF.

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Sidney Crosby was named to Canada’s preliminary roster for the 2026 Olympics which will be held in Italy. All participating countries were scheduled to announce the first six members of their rosters on Monday.
