As National Police Week in Washington, D.C., winds down after another year, we take a look at the some of the happenings of the memorial event.

In commemoration of National Police Week, a memorial to honor law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty was held at 9 a.m. Friday at the Public Safety Plaza near Second Street and Jackson Street in downtown Columbus.

Police Week is May 11-17 and federal leaders are honoring law enforcement in different ways, Sen. Mike Lee has supported two resolutions whilee Vice President JD Vance spoke at a Police Week breakfast.
