Brewers Acquire Outfielder Brandon Lockridge
MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Brewers have acquired outfielder Brandon Lockridge from the San Diego Padres in exchange for left-handed pitcher Nestor Cortes, infielder Jorge Quintana and cash. The announcement was made by Senior Vice President and General Manager Matt Arnold.
"Milwaukee was short lived but wow what a group of gritty players and blue collar organization," Cortes wrote on Instagram Aug. 1 after he was sent to the San Diego Padres in a trade deadline move.
