Shakira's New Jersey concert at MetLife Stadium faces a traffic nightmare amid NJ Transit strike that went into effect at midnight on Friday, May 16.

Whenever, wherever, Shakira’s fans were going to find a way to get to her sold-out concert in New Jersey Thursday night. Some had a smooth and efficient experience taking the bus.

NJ Transit announced no bus or rail service would run to MetLife Stadium for the Shakira concert later this week. “Due to the potential rail service stoppage, NJ TRANSIT will not be operating train or bus service to MetLife Stadium for the Shakira concerts on May 15th and 16th,” the agency said in a social media post Monday.
