Ever since she shot to fame in the ‘00s, Carrie Underwood has been a blonde. In fact, when asked if she’d ever rock a different hair color during a 2012 interview, the American Idol judge admitted that she didn’t want to “shock people” by going brunette.

Carrie Underwood debuted a new look featuring brownish blonde tresses, saying that she was seeing her natural hair color for the first time in 30 years: "It might be time to give it a second chance."
