Kate Middleton has made a last-minute decision to pull out of a planned appearance at the Royal Ascot horse racing event. The Princess of Wales was scheduled to attend the second day of the prestigious sporting spectacle in Berkshire, southeast England, but opted out as she continues her cancer recovery.

Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, recently appeared alongside Prince William, as well as their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis at Trooping the Colour.

As Prince William arrived at the event alone, a friend told Vanity Fair that the Princess of Wales has already been busier this year than previously expected.
