Cook County gas station sells $500,000 lottery ticket
A gas station in southwest suburban Hickory Hills sold a winning $500,000 lottery ticket for Wednesday's Lucky Day Lotto.
The Mega Millions estimated jackpot for Tuesday’s drawing was a whopping $800 million. The winning numbers were 11, 14, 17, 50, and 57 and the gold Mega Ball was 6. The cash prize option for the potential winner is $371.7 million.
The Mega Millions jackpot is in the top 10 largest of all time, at $680 million for the drawing on Friday, Oct. 24.
