Before the final votes of Tuesday’s elections in New Jersey, Virginia and New York City had been tallied, Gov. Ron DeSantis appeared to be positioning himself for his next big race.

DeSantis said he chose Ingoglia – a home builder for 24 years and a professional poker player – for his “great financial record,” but also because he is a conservative warrior.
