Chiefs star Travis Kelce told Pat McAfee that he'll be returning for another NFL season in 2025, and already has a big goal in mind.
The Chiefs general manager Brett Veach shared the news of Kelce’s illness during an upcoming episode of the NFL podcast, “The Insiders.” Noting that he wasn’t “making excuses” for the Chiefs’ loss, Veach told host Tom Pelissero Tuesday that the tight end was “battling a pretty big illness” before the Chiefs lost to the Eagles 40-22 on Feb.
Days after the Super Bowl LIX loss to the Eagles, Kelce had said he would take some time to ponder whether to retire or play the last season on his contract. Chiefs general manager Brett Veach said at the NFL Combine that he expects Kelce to be back for the 2025 season.
