Cooler weather will return with the rain with highs back around average and in the upper 70s for most of the workweek. Our extended summer continues as we'll see highs, pushing to near 90 over the next three days. That's about 10–15 above average for this time of year.

Much of the area will see a good chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms on Friday.

This includes the Indianapolis metro area.
