Jennifer’s garage hasn’t been working for two weeks, so we got to her as soon as we could. We realized pretty quickly it was the child safety sensors on the floor!

For proper safety, make sure you keep your garage door sensors clean and in working condition.

Check to be sure these two sensors on either side of your garage door frame are aimed correctly at each other and all the way across the width of the frame.

When the garage door opener senses an obstruction, it will prevent the door from closing. This is usually due to a problem with the optical sensors.
