Seeking to scale new heights at the Women's European Championship, Wales coach Rhian Wilkinson has hiked to the summit of the principality's highest peak to announce her squad for the tournament.

The Wales head coach has used Yr Wyddfa, or Snowdon, as a metaphor to inspire her squad with this an appropriate venue to confirm selection

Rhian Wilkinson hiked up Wales’ highest peak before delivering the names of 23 players determined to scale their own summit at Euro 2025. At 1,085 metres above sea level, climbing Yr Wyddfa in North Wales is not for the faint-hearted.
