The Saints have still not named a starting quarterback, although the general consensus is that it will be Rattler, who started six games for New Orleans last season and totaled 1,317 yards, four touchdowns and five interceptions while completing 57 percent of his passes.

Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that Haener will be waived as the Saints move to the 53-player limit on Tuesday. Haener was listed alongside Spencer Rattler and Tyler Shough as the first-string quarterback for the Saints on their preseason depth chart.
