With a revamped bullpen, Mets starters have some pressure taken off. Once considered the team’s set-up man, right-hander Reed Garrett, who has a 2.70 ERA in 45 appearances this season, figures to be the team’s fifth or sixth inning guy.

The Mets have plenty of weapons in their bullpen after their deadline revamp. All three arms they picked up -- Gregory Soto, Tyler Rogers, and Ryan Helsley -- come with plenty of experience pitching in the late innings of big ballgames. Still, the team will lean on All-Star closer Edwin Diaz as their top option.
