Pakistan’s military accused neighbouring India on Friday of sponsoring insurgents in a restive southwestern province, where an unprecedented attack by armed separatists this week killed 26 passengers aboard a hijacked train.

The DG ISPR commended the Pakistan Army, Special Services Group, Law Enforcement Agencies and FC for conducting the operation with utmost precision and caution. He mentioned that not a single causality happened during the conduct of the operation. He said some passengers were martyred before the launch of the operation by the security forces.

Pakistan accused India of sponsoring terrorism without implicating it directly in the recent Balochistan train attack. Communication during the attack was traced to Afghanistan, and Pakistan urged Afghanistan to act against the perpetrators.
