We have issued a First Alert Weather Day for Sunday and Monday due to the first rounds of accumulating snow bands. Snow will be in the form of lake effect snow along the northwest wind bands. This means the eastern and western counties will receive the most snowfall. Right now, models are showing between 2-4″ in some areas.
The rest of this evening, however, will be pretty quiet. Clouds are drifting southward, but will be slow to make significant progress at first. Gradually, they’ll overspread more of the area, and more will move in from the west, too. Lows will be in the mid to upper 30s.
