The Escalade IQ will be no slouch as an electric car. It’ll be built on the General Motors Ultium battery platform, and Cadillac says that it’ll offer a range of 460 miles, which is excellent.

Cadillac promises up to 750 horsepower and 785 pounds-feet of torque from the 2025 Escalade IQ’s Ultium powertrain — which tracks with other GM EVs — along with an estimated 450 miles of range.

The Escalade IQ will be shipped with all the cameras, radars and LiDAR needed for Ultra Cruise. The software will then be pushed to owners via an OTA update once GM determines its safe for use.

The Escalade IQ will likely be built off the next generation Ultium platform, the same modular EV platform used in every modern GM EV from the sporty Blazer EV to the monstrous Hummer EV.
