Henderson Fire initially started 5:45 p.m. May 30 in San Diego County. Since its discovery two days ago, it has burned 256 acres. A fire crew of 169 has been working on site and, by Sunday evening, they managed to contain 80% of the fire. However, the cause is still under investigation.

A 300-acre wildfire burning near the Riverside and San Diego county border prompted evacuation warnings on Friday evening, which have since been lifted. The blaze was first reported at around 5:30 p.m. off of Henderson Road, just north of SR-76 and I-15 near the Pala Casino Spa Resort, according to Cal Fire.

Evacuation orders have been changed to evacuation warnings in San Diego County according to a post on X from the San Diego Sheriff's Department.
