The Seattle Storm announced Monday the team has signed forward Mackenzie Holmes to the active roster, as reported by Andrew Destin of the Associated Press. Her signing fills the vacancy created by Saturday’s trade of center Li Yueru to the Dallas Wings.

Yueru, a 6-7 center from China, was traded from Los Angeles to Seattle in February and now joins the Wings. Dallas is sending a 2026 second-round pick, which includes the right to swap with the Connecticut Sun, and a 2027 third-round pick, which includes the right to swap with the Indiana Fever.

Ten days after Li Yueru’s trade request, the Storm sent her to the Dallas Wings in exchange for a 2026 second-round and 2027 third-round draft pick.
