Josh Allen edged two-time winner Lamar Jackson for the AP NFL Most Valuable Player award, announced at the 2025 NFL Honors.

Josh Allen has been named the 2024 NFL MVP. Allen won the award at the NFL Honors ceremony on Thursday and to a degree, it was surprising. Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was selected as the AFC’s first-team, All-Pro QB over Allen. In most cases, that means Jackson would be named the MVP too.
