Blasts were heard and seen in Gaza from southern Israel, hours after Israel and Hamas said they had agreed to a long-awaited ceasefire and hostage deal, the first phase of President Trump's plan to end a war in Gaza.

Plumes of smoke and explosions were seen in Gaza on Oct. 9, after Israel and Hamas agreed to the first phase of a ceasefire deal overnight.

Activists on board the Global Sumud Flotilla said they heard explosions and saw drone attacks late on Tuesday.
