Blasts were heard and seen in Gaza from southern Israel, hours after Israel and Hamas said they had agreed to a long-awaited ceasefire and hostage deal, the first phase of President Trump's plan to end a war in Gaza.

Aboard the plane were several members of the press who had attended the peace summit in Egypt, where the signing of the Gaza peace agreement took place.
