Simultaneously, Microsoft demonstrated immense foresight by retaining the Control Panel from older Windows versions instead of nuking it and using Settings as the sole interface.
Microsoft has apparently moved another Control Panel setting to the Windows 11 "Settings" app. The change is currently hidden and not enabled by default, so Insiders must activate it manually.
The Control Panel has been part of Windows since 1985, making it nearly 40 years old—and even the 'new' Settings app was introduced in 2012 with Windows 8.
