NEW ORLEANS, La. (WWL-TV) – In the aftermath of the historic EF-3 tornado that touched down in New Orleans East, not only have families been displaced, but so have their four-legged friends.

The group is reuniting animals that were lost during the storms and helping support pet owners. As Laurel County continues healing from a tornado, one aspect of the recovery effort is animal rescue.
