Another new Web browser is about to be released. Since it is Perplexity.ai behind it, the market can expect something different than usual this time. One novelty in the new browser, called Comet, is that Perplexity is incorporating agentic search.

It has recently been expanding its offerings—for example, it launched a deep research tool competing with similar ones provided by OpenAI and Google, as well as Sonar, an API for generative AI-powered search.
