The UConn women’s basketball team extended its Big East win streak to 38 consecutive games with one of its best offensive showings of the season, routing Butler 101-59 on Sunday in front of a sold-out crowd at the XL Center.

Graduate transfer Kaitlyn Chen was used to playing in a defense-focused system during her four years with Princeton, but when she joined the UConn women’s basketball team last spring, she quickly discovered that the Huskies’s full-court pressure was a different beast entirely.
