Meta has struck a $15 billion deal for a 49% stake in Scale AI, a fast-growing data-labelling startup led by 28-year-old CEO Alexandr Wang. The move puts Wang—once the worlds youngest self-made billionaire—at the helm of Metas new superintelligence research unit.
OpenAI said it will continue working with Scale AI after Meta Platforms Inc. made a multibillion-dollar investment in the startup, as it seeks to maintain a broad ecosystem of data sources.
