The Oregon Ducks are firmly in the College Football Playoff mix with just a few weeks remaining in the regular season, and a large part of their success has been with quarterback Dante Moore leading the way as he puts himself in the Heisman Trophy conversation.

The Ducks are ranked No. 9 in the first edition of the College Football Playoff rankings, as decided by the selection committee. Under the new format of the playoff, Oregon would likely be on the road for a first-round playoff game if it held that ranking.
