And now, NBA insider Marc Stein has reported that concerns about Doncic's long-term future with the Lakers have "dissipated considerably. Smart has not officially signed yet. He has to clear waivers after being bought out by the Wizards. But by Wednesday, he should be able to officially join the Lakers.
