Season 1 of the show, which is based off the American series of the same name, resulted in six engagements and three weddings. However, one couple — Steven Smith and Sabrina Egerton — split before the reunion, with long distance tearing them apart.

Sabrina and Steven, who married in the Love Is Blind UK season finale, split less than a year later. In August 2025, Steven told Tudum they “just weren’t compatible” and that distance worsened their issues, while Sabrina called the relationship “too good to be true.” They are now seeking an annulment.
