East Syracuse, N.Y. -- Bishop Grimes is closing and merging with Bishop Ludden in Geddes, Roman Catholic Diocese officials said this afternoon. A letter from the Diocese went out to faculty, parents, staff and students. The district said the decision was “not made lightly.” The new school will be called Bishop Ludden/Grimes, the letter said.
