A marathon voting session on President Donald Trump’s sweeping domestic policy bill is underway in the Senate after a weekend of negotiations and delays.

Entering the final stretch of an arduous process, the Republican-controlled Senate began voting Monday on amendments to President Donald Trump's massive tax cut and spending bill, with the goal of passing it later in the day.

The outcome was not yet in sight. Senate Majority Leader John Thune of South Dakota acknowledged the Republicans are “figuring out how to get to the end game.”
