New York Jets first-year head coach Aaron Glenn's job remains safe as the team endures a rough 1-7 start as well as the trades of a pair of ex-franchise cornerstones in cornerback Sauce Gardner and defensive lineman Quinnen Williams.

NFL Insider Ian Rapoport provided an eyebrow raising update on the job security of New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn.

Aaron Glenn cannot predict when he might field a team that Jets fans can be proud of, and everyone knows this 1-7 team isn’t that team.

It's a question that has been posed to Jets head coach Aaron Glenn in seemingly a million different ways since the beginning of Week 8 and the answer has been the same pretty much every time. Glenn hasn't specifically named a starting quarterback after initially wanting to give the Cincinnati Bengals an advantage in preparations for that matchup.

Prior to the bye week, Justin Fields led the New York Jets to their first win of the 2025 season. Despite that performance, coach Aaron Glenn isn't committing to Fields as the Week 10 starter, at least not publicly.
